Congrats! I was just in China in January being united with my baby girl from the same SWI. My referral pic had the same red chair. We've been together for 7 weeks now - what a little treasure. It is truly a journey and adventure of a lifetime. I wish you all the best.

Were you told "Long" means "dragon"? Our agency paperwork had translation for the first and middle name but for the last name, it just said "surname"...odd since the agency is run by a Chinese couple....Anyway, the FB group for the orphanage referred to their kids as "dragon" babies and a friend of mine confirmed that is is what the last name means.

She's beautiful. Just look at those lips! Congratulations. You must be over the moon. It seems like forever and a year, doesn't it?
We still have another 2-3 years to see our second daughter's face. Been in line since our other daughter was 2 (almost 5 years now). I'm happy to see a precious face from China on your blog. It brings me renewed hope. Odd to think that your little baby girl will be in preschool (perhaps in Kindergarten) by the time we get our new referral.....Time flies, trust me on this one...cherish it. I look back on our older girl's pictures now, being almost gotcha day celebration in our household, and it feels like yesterday we were in China with her. Embrace every minute of it.
